No 10 Date for Housing Chief

THE chief executive of Fabrick Housing Group was honoured to receive an invitation to No. 10 Downing Street recently.
Alison Thain was one of just 150 housing professionals hand picked to attend a reception hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The event included experts from across the sector including developers and mortgage lenders, as well as housing association chiefs.
The Prime Minister gave a short speech outlining the housing aspects of his earlier announcement on Building Britain's Future and the event also provided the opportunity to meet new Housing Minister, John Healey.
